Can I cook with silicone food bags?

Of course! All Moonmoon bags are safe for cooking up to 230 degrees in the oven, microwave and sous vide cooking.

Are Silicone Bags safe to store in the fridge?

Yes! All our silicone freezer bags are ideal for fridge storage, as well as freezing leftovers, meals, or batch cooking.

Are Reusable Silicone Bags recyclable?

Wonderful set

These bags are ideal. I’ve been saving my batches in Tupperware but recently learnt about moonmoon silicone bags. They are considerably better in every conceivable way. I’d love to get a super size set for larger batches.

I like 'em!

These bags are really useful. I use them mostly for storing frozen food for my baby, which means I need access to and handle them every day to take out portions. They take their space in the freezer and don't collapse like thin plastic ones, which makes them easy to find and grab. They are airtight when closed correctly and it's easy to see what's inside.

A few things, which in total take one star off for me:

The XL ones don't feel XL. I know they state the volume and you see pictures with food in them but they feel smaller, especially the opening.

They get REALLY cold in the freezer, which makes them a little uncomfortable to handle for longer.

When stored in the freezer, there is a thin layer of ice that forms around the seal. They are fine to open, but closing them back up is difficult, because it creates some resistance. You might want to remove the ice first.

Also, when using with scent intensive food (for me chicken marinade), the bag will continue to slightly smell of its former contents. That might subside over time though.

And lastly, they don't dry easily in the dishwasher. Not a huge problem but notable.

Seems like a lot of cons, but I do think these are small things in total for how useful and environmentally friendly they are. Thanks!

Really high quality product - I have a similar product from stasher which is widely regarded as the original and best silicone food bag brand, but the moonmoon bags are of the same quality and a much better price point! Love them and will most likely buy more in future. I may actually prefer the moonmoon bags to stasher bags.
